Bármilyen furán hangzik is, ma már legfeljebb csak a középkategóriába sorolhatók a kb. 900 cm3
hengerűrtartalmú és 110 LE körüli teljesítményű motorkerékpárok. Cikkünk két szereplője más és más módon értelmezi a sportos naked bike fogalmát. Vajon van valami, ami hiányzik róluk a boldogsághoz? És mindent egybevetve melyik a jobb kettejük közül?
Annak ellenére, hogy több sarokszámuk is elég hasonló a méret- és tömegadatokat közlő táblázatban, igencsak eltérően értelmezi cikkünk két szereplője, mit is jelent sportos naked bike-nak lenni a felső középkategóriában. Mint ahogy azt is, milyen hozzávalókra van feltétlenül szükség a sikerhez, és mi az, amitől nyugodtan el lehet tekinteni. Érdekes, hogy pont az olaszok, akik a nosztalgikus scramblerek mellett a csúcstechnikára és a motorsportra is igen fogékonyak, döntöttek úgy, hogy az „ami sok, az sok”-stratégia jegyében készítik el a jól bevált 937 köbcentis Testastretta- motorral hajtott, gyökeresen megújult Monster 2021-ben bemutatott legfrissebb generációját.
Elöl 43 mm csőátmérőjű fordított teleszkópvilla teljesít szolgálatot alatta. Hogy lehet-e bármit állítani rajta? Nem, nem lehet. Hátul egy, a hatalmas alumínium lengővillához kapcsolt rugóstagra támaszkodik a Monster, ez utóbbi – a könnyen szabályozható rugó-előfeszítést leszámítva – ugyancsak nem kínál semmifajta állítási lehetőséget. De vajon kifizetődik-e ez a fajta egyszerűség és mértékletesség? Minden jel szerint igen. Olyannyira, hogy a 2021-es összehasonlító teszten, ahol is neves ellenfelekkel mérkőzött meg az új Monster, mind a futómű értékelésében, mind pedig összetettben maga mögé utasította a többi gyártmányt.
Azon a teszten egyébként a Yamaha MT-09 is képviseltette magát, igaz, nem a jelen cikkben bemutatott SP modellváltozat, hanem az egyszerűbb futóművel rendelkező alapkivitel képében. Egyébként az is első lett az említett értékelésekben, csak éppen hátulról. Most az SP-n a sor, hogy kiküszöbölje a típus becsületén esett csorbát.
A pucér japán 41 mm vastag fordított Kayaba teleszkópvilláján külön nagy sebességre lehet beállítani a nyomófokozati csillapítást. A nagy sebesség itt nem magára a járműre, hanem a berugózásra vonatkozik. Visszajelzés, stabilitás, kényelem és tartalék – minden adott, ráadásul tág határok között, egyéni ízlés szerint állítható az első futómű. Ugyanez nem mondható el a szintén igényes kivitelű, a lengővillához himbarendszeren keresztül kapcsolódó, hidraulikus rugó-előfeszítésű (kézi kerékkel kivitelezhető) rugóstagról. Akármilyen meglepő is, nem tudtunk negatív rugóutat mérni a Yamahán, amikor teljesen fellazítottuk hátul a rugót! Az esetek többségben rendszerint ez 15%.
A komfort javulásából sem érzékeltünk semmit, holott rekkenő nyári meleg volt, és teljesen (!) ki voltak nyitva a csillapítószelepek. Az importőrnél elvégzett vizsgálat arra a megállapításra jutott, hogy minden rendben a rugóstaggal, csak éppen feszes a hangolása, ami jó minőségű aszfalton nem gond, mert ott úgyis pár fokozattal elzárja a csapot az ember. Versenypályán is elég tartalékot rejt magában ez az alaphangolás, rossz minőségű országúton azonban nem nyeli el készségesen a kisebb- nagyobb egyenetlenségeket. Ilyenkor önkéntelenül is felvetődik a kérdés: mi értelme volt annak, hogy ekkora munkát fordítottak a japánok a futóműre? Cserébe viszont a Ducatinál élénkebben változtat irányt, és szépen leköveti a bejárandó ívet a Yamaha.
Az olasz csődör mindig jobban kitágítja a kanyart, és esetében jobban ellen kell tartani a kormányt az ívbelső végén. Ráadásul a Monster+ fékrendszere se nyomáspont, se hatékonyság és visszajelzés szempontjából nem veheti fel a versenyt a Yamaháéval. Megjegyzendő, hogy csak közvetlen összehasonlításkor érezni ezeket a különbségeket, továbbá az is, hogy a Ducati kevésbé akar felegyenesedni, ha kanyarvétel közben lassítanak vele. Abban a tartományban viszont, ahol rendeltetésénél fogva közbeavatkozik a blokkolásgátló, már nagyobb eltérések mutatkoznak a két gyártmány között. Olyankor a Monster fara is kicsit nyugtalanná válik, ám ettől még szépen a földön tartja a kerekét.
A Yamaha ABS-es lassítás közben is megőrzi stabilitását, ami lejtőn különösen igaz rá, de nála rendre megfigyelhető, hogy elemelkedik az aszfalttól a hátsó kerék. Szerencsére nem kritikus mértékben, felesleges előrebukástól tartani. Az MT-09-ben nem a futómű, hanem a motor az aduász. Attól függően, melyik menetprogram aktív éppen, tud brutális, felvillanyozó, nyugtató vagy egyenesen komótos is lenni a háromhengeres. Ugyanolyan jól lehet vele hatodikban 2000-es fordulaton csordogálni, mint nagyokat egykerekezni az első két sebességfokozat valamelyikében. Közben mindvégig vérpezsdítő, hatásosan tompított hangon morog, és enyhe nyersességgel teszi a dolgát.
Maga a megtestesült életöröm ez az erőforrás, és hála a már-már tökéletes gyorsváltó-blipper párosnak, folyamatosan képes rá, hogy az elégedettség jóleső érzésével töltse el a Yamahát irányító motorost. A Monster motorikus szempontból nem üti meg teljesen az MT-09 szintjét. Az egész a kuplunggal veszi kezdetét, amely – főleg hidegindítást követően – hajlamos a rángatásra. Szinte képtelenség 3000-es fordulat alatt tartani a kéthengerest a magasabb sebességfokozatokban. Kihúzatni viszont – akárcsak a Yamaha-motort – 10 000 fölé is lehet. A rendelkezésre álló három menetprogram közülmindenekelőtt az agresszív Sportot és a fölényes Touringot érdemes használni, az Urbant kevésbé. Ez utóbbi elsősorban nem azért hanyagolandó, mert 6700 percenkénti fordulat fölött visszaveszi a teljesítményt, hanem azért, mert mindenfajta élet- és pörgési kedvet kiöl a kéthengeresből.
A Ducati feljebb- és visszaváltásokban is közreműködő kapcsolási segédletének valamivel nagyobb fordulatra van szükségük az olajozott működéshez, mint a Yamaháénak. Részleges terhelés mellett az őt körülvevő vízköpeny ellenére is nagyon hangos a motorja. Hangjához teljes terheléskor az airbox felől érkező szívózaj és jó adag vibráció is társul. Míg tehát a Ducati akusztikai szempontból igazi primadonna, a Yamaha példás visszafogottsággal látja el a feladatát. Alapjárati zaj tekintetében érdekes módon pont fordított a helyzet: a Ducatinál 93 db(A), az MT-09-nél 96 db(A) mérhető. Elhaladási zajra ugyanakkor hajszálnyival a japán motorkerékpár a jobb (76 helyett 75 db(A)). Mint azt minimális fogyasztásuk (Ducati: 4,4 l, Yamaha: 4,3 l) bizonyítja, mindkét gyártmány igen takarékos, általánosságban sem gond öt liter alatt tartani a fogyasztásukat. Ez akkor is igaz, ha lendületesen motorozik velük az ember.
A szerény étvágy és a mindenkori tanktérfogatok együtteséből bőven 300 km fölötti hatótáv adódik. Javarészt az ergonómián múlik, mennyire pihentető letekerni nagyobb távolságokat. A Yamahán vékony és kemény párnázatú az ülés. A Ducatié puhább és kényelmesebb, ráadásul elöl három centiméterrel keskenyebb is egyben, ami kedvez a kisnövésűeknek, mert azonos ülésmagasság mellett könnyebben elérik róla a talajt. Amint az a képeken is látszik, nincs nagy különbség a Monster és az MT-09 között a kormány, az ülés és a lábtartók közötti távolság viszonylatában. Hogy a Yamahán mégis egyenesebb testtartásban lehet ülni, az annak köszönhető, hogy 4,5 centiméterrel magasabban van a kormánya. A Ducnál határozottan előre terhelőbb az üléspozíció. Világos, hogy az ilyen jellegű motorkerékpárokat főleg munkába járásra vagy hétvégi kiruccanásokra szokták használni.
Ettől függetlenül azért nézzük meg, mi a helyzet náluk a túraalkalmassággal! 220 kg-os terhelhetőségük nem rossz kiindulási alap, igazán kényelmesnek azonban nem mondható az utasülésük, és a csomagszállítás is sok improvizációt igényel. A mindennapokban persze más szempontok számítanak. Például az, hogy míg a Yamahánál 6,6 m a fordulókör átmérője, addig a Ducatinak egy 5,05 méteres kör is elég ahhoz, hogy hátraarcot csináljon. A Monster lábtartóinak felső részét ráadásul gumiborítás fedi, ami azért jó, mert elnyeli a vibrációt, és kevésbé csúszik esőben.
A Yamahánál alumíniumból vannak a lábtartók, cserébe viszont két különböző magasságra lehet beállítani őket. Mi a teszten úgy használtuk a motort, hogy lejjebb voltak engedve. Örömmel konstatáltuk, hogy még így sem voltak annyira alacsonyan, hogy azzal érdemben korlátozták volna a bedönthetőséget, idejekorán csíkokat vésve az aszfaltba. Kidolgozási minőségre a Yamaha tűnik jobbnak.
Kevesebb rajta a szürke műanyag, több az igényesen fényezett, szépen csillogó felület. A művészi kivitelű hátsó lengővilla különösen szép látványt nyújt. A Ducati sokkal egyszerűbb kivitelű, amit még az is tetéz, hogy nincsenek lelakkozva rajta a különböző feliratok. Az MT ellenben olyan hatást kelt, mintha hiányoznának róla az oldalborítások. Baloldalt a rugóstag kiegyenlítőtartálya és a rugó- előfeszítés állítására szolgáló kézi kerék, jobboldalt a töltőáram feszültségszabályozója kapott helyet rajta. A Ducatinak praktikus hajlított gumiszelepei és hidraulikus kuplungja van, igaz, utóbbi hasonló kézerőt igényel, mint a Yamaháé.
Az MT-09 egyszerű bovdenes kuplunggal is elboldogul, viszont csak 10 000 kilométeres a szervizintervalluma. A Ducatival e távolság másfélszerese tehető meg az előírt szervizek között. Ezek után újra felmerül a bevezetőben feltett kérdés, ti. mi az, amire még feltétlenül szükség lehet a felhőtlen boldogsághoz? Igazából csak apróságok jönnek szóba. A Yamahánál azt kívánjuk, hogy ne legyen annyira kemény a rugóstag, és kényelmesebben lehessen ülni rajta hátul, a Ducatinál pedig, hogy tegye jobban közszemlére a motorját. Meg talán azt, hogy kicsit finomabban járjon a V2-es. Ezeket leszámítva minden rendben van az új középosztály jeles képviselőivel.
